Favourite Memory Behind The Decks
One of my favourite performance memories took place at a Latin wedding where I had been asked to provide relaxed and romantic music during dinner. Towards the end of the meal, a bolero came up in the set, and to my surprise, guests began getting up to dance. As a Colombian musician, I know how important dancing is in our culture, so seeing that reaction was really special. Once dinner had finished, I introduced more Latin rhythms, including salsa, and the energy in the room continued to grow. Soon the dance floor was full, everyone was enjoying themselves, and it became one of those unforgettable moments where music brought everyone together.
