So what can I expect at Oktoberfest in the Gardens Perth?
If there is any festival that can be described as pure crazy tons of fun, it’s this one!
The festival is back in 2022 bigger and better, with the organises saying they are ‘levelling up’ for this years grand event. Check out their socials for clues as to all the awesome things they have in store for us. Returning to the gardens will be two massive big top beer halls, delicious German food stalls, a dodgeball arena, a wood chopping demonstration and live performances by roving artists. For those who like to get a little playful, the sideshow alley, featuring some target practice, bumper cars and adrenaline pumping rides, will provide doses of extra fun. For the young at heart, clowns, mimes and circus performers will be putting on shows to keep guests entertained from day to night.
The team are keeping things authentic, making sure their party-goers get the full Bavarian experience. Their music line up for the day/night includes a long list of German entertainers such as brass bands, yodellers, roving accordion players, pretzel fräuleins and a variety of bands playing on and off stage! Make sure to catch whatever bangers are being thrown down on the main stage as the sun sets; this is always a highlight 😍 To top it all off, the Streamline gang will be serving up some funky tunes across multiple stages and the silent disco throughout the afternoon and evening 🤯
Come join our very own HARRY SUN, WHERESHOLLY?, AZZA, KIYOSHI & BOSTON SWITCH in the silent disco and SHANN, burning it up behind the decks like there is no tomorrow!
One of our fave things of the festival is the opportunity to dress up in our lederhosen & dirndls. The best dressed will have the opportunity to win a prize on stage, which trust us, has gotten pretty heated in the past! Don’t have a kit yet? The Oktoberfest team has joined forces with Blossom Costumes, to give their party goers a tempting discount on their selection (more details on the festival’s website). For the more brave challenge seekers, there will be a number of other themed competitions and on-stage games, like the stein holdings and pretzel eating challenges.
For something a little extra, make sure to check out the VIP package tickets and all the goodies they include, like the 1L acrylic stein (including your first fill) that you get to take home, the buffet lunch and table service. 😎
We are so honoured to be involved in this festival year after year (for 9 years now!) and join the 12,000+ Octoberfest fanatics that attend the Perth leg every year.
