First of all the festivals motto is ‘let’s raise a glass to good times, good mates and good beer’ and if that combination alone has not peaked your interest, I don’t know what will. Inspired by the traditional Bavarian festival, Oktoberfest in the Gardens, features a little bit of everything and caters to everyone, from the ‘nice-day-outters’ to the ‘ absolutely-crazy-fun-partiers’. With two big top beer halls, authentic German food stalls, festival rides, roving performers, silent disco and three main music stages, epic entertainment is a guarantee!
If dancing is not your thing, there are millions of other ways to keep yourself busy, such as a dodgeball arena, a wood chopping demonstration and sideshow alley. Make sure you dress up and bring your a-game for the on-stage competitions: bratwurst eating championships, stein holding, Mr and Mrs Oktoberfest Prizes, apple bobbing, pretzel eating, tug of war, a keg run and so much more! Check out all that’s on offer on this crazy day here.
Streamline Entertainment has been a part of Oktoberfest in the Gardens every year since 2014. Shann has personally performed as the headline act for the festival, all around Australia (Perth, Sydney, Melbourne & Adelaide), at over 20 different shows. Streamline Entertainment also manages the silent disco sets in Perth with 3 channels of Perths Best DJs. We absolutely love being part of the Australian Festival and Music scene and meeting all of the awesome artists who play these events, such as Dallas Radio. Every year we are delighted to share the stage with our good friend Robbie Figg (GM of Happiness Co) who has nailed the role of show MC for the past 3 year. Each year we SPLURGE on inflatables to throw into the crowd during the headline set, because there’s something super fun about 20 pool toys flying in the air over a mosh pit. The energy is always through the roof, hands constantly in the air, people jumping and singing at the top of their lungs…It’s safe to say ‘wooers’ are not hard to find.
2020 was without a doubt the craziest Oktoberfest we have ever seen, with 12,000 people fresh out of lockdown and hungry for a good dancing squish up! We know this year is going to be just as epic, if not bigger, with tons of dirndl and lederhosen dressed Oktoberefesters hitting the garden for a guaranteed good day out. If you want to be one of them, make sure to jump online and grab some tickets before they all run out! Fun fact: on entry you receive a complimentary beer and plastic stein or, if you’re a VIP ticket holder, a beer and 1L glass stein. Don’t miss out! Grab your tickets here
[…] all sounds a bit too good to be true, but we would expect nothing less from the team behind Oktoberfest in the Gardens and The Old Synagogue in Fremantle, both high up on the memorable night out […]
