Joshua Ellard Garner is a multifaceted artist from Perth, Australia. His musical journey began on the move whilst travelling the world as a professional athlete. During these years on the road he brought to life an eccentric musical style that has made way for a refreshingly unique sound.
Working along side many great musicians to this day he continues to develop on his vibrant and distinct tone. His music is designed to uplift and thats what drives him to create. Blending genres of indie-rock, folk, pop, and funk, creating a euphoric and boundless sound.
Joshua’s diverse talents and creative approach to his work have helped him stand out in multiple fields, from music and visual arts to sports and filmmaking. His ability to draw inspiration from dreams and blend various genres in his music demonstrates his unique artistic vision and versatility as a creator.

Other Interests
I’m a graphic designer so a lot of visual art and creative projects interest me. I’m also a professional bodyboarder so the ocean, surfing, photography, cinematography all interest me.
I’m a father to a beautiful young daughter and she is the greatest influence in my life. I enjoy meditation and other practises to keep myself inspired and happy. Amidst all of this music is my life long goal and my main focus and career path. It’s currently offering me a lot of wonderful opportunities which I plan to pursue to the best of my abilities
Favourite memory at a gig
I performed in France on a beautiful cobblestone street in a very affluent town. The outdoor performance allowed for all the town to gather and the natural reverb from the architecture and the old church nearby was very unique. On top of this it began to rain at the end of our set and it didn’t stop the crowd. Instead we all basked in that moment. It’s a really lovely memory. Each show there is usually a new favourite memory. Like my last show an old couple felt inspired to ball room dance in front of me for a few songs and shortly after a group of children began to dance to the music for hours. It’s wonderful that my music can connect with all ages and cultures. And it’s these reasons I love creating and performing music.
