Danny Bau is a 30-year-old singer-songwriter from Mandurah. He has been performing for the past 10 years, earning recognition through numerous local competitions, including Battle of the Bands and Coast Idol.

In 2013, Danny became a top ten finalist in Telstra’s Road to Discovery, a prestigious program in partnership with Telstra and Mushroom Records aimed at discovering some of Australia’s most promising emerging artists. Following this achievement, he embarked on a nationwide tour, performing in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, and Darwin, before securing international gigs in Europe and Thailand.

In 2015, he released his debut four-track EP, followed by a collaborative project in 2017 with producer Kav Temperley of Eskimo Joe. After a hiatus due to lockdowns, Danny made a comeback in 2023 with the release of a new track titled Moments in January, with more projects currently in the works. When he’s not working on his music, you can find Danny playing at various bars and beer gardens around Perth.
